Maruzza, from which this Suite takes its name is the female protagonist of the famous Sicilian novelI Malavoglia by Giovanni Verga. This female character best expresses the characteristics of the Sicilian woman of 1800. Maruzza accepts, with silent courage and untiring hard work, the adversities that fall on her family, remaining faithful to the role of wife and mother, demonstrating an admirable attachment to the home fireplace .

Breakfast starts with a buffet offering a rich variety of typical cakes, fruit, organic jams and seasonal dishes, hot express dishes and the possibility to order breakfast “à la carte” respecting the guests’ lifestyles.
